BMC Capacity Optimization
A collection of objects that establish the computers that you want to monitor, and the conditions on those computers. A policy can be simple or complex. A basic policy might consist only of a list of computers. An alert policy can contain the specifications for domains, computers, alert sets, alerts, and filters to investigate.
BMC BladeLogic Client Automation
An Application Packager feature that determines whether files and the other contents of a channel are installed, updated, uninstalled, verified, or repaired. You can set policies at two levels:
- As the default for all contents of a channel
- For individual items in a channel (by overriding the default policies)
