The default time zone for the Analyzer and Collector components is UTC-5:00 (Eastern Time in the Universal Coordinated Time system, or UTC). The default time zone for the Console component is the time zone of the system where it runs. You can adjust the system clock so that the system displays all the date and time selectors in your local time zone.

Note

Changing a component's time zone does not affect the time stamps of raw data.

To set the local time zone on the Console

To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.

  1. In the BMC Application Performance Management Console interface, click System Deployment.
  2. From the shortcut menu in the Time Zone panel, select Edit Time Zone.
  3. In the Time Zone list, select the time zone that you want the Console component to use.
  4. Click Save.

The system updates the time zone settings and displays the time zone in the top right corner. Additionally, all metrics in the system that related to time, display in the selected time zone. The system also takes into consideration daylight saving time (DST) and applies it automatically for the times zones where it is applicable.
