The following table contains a short description of each application class and a graphic of the icon that represents each application class in BMC PATROL for Windows Azure.

Application name and icon Description

AZURE

Provides a top-level container application class for BMC PATROL for Windows Azure.

AZURE_ACCOUNT

Provides information about the Windows Azure account.

An account can contain multiple hosted services.

AZURE_HSTD_SERV

Provides information about the hosted service for a specific Windows Azure account. It provides information such as number of cores used, the DNS prefix, and the region where the hosted service is located.

AZURE_DEPLOY

Provides information about the deployment for a specific hosted service.

AZURE_ROLE

Provides information about the environment of a role and the storage account in use. Provides information about a role, whether the role is in production or staging.

AZURE_INSTANCE

Represents the role role instance name of a specific role.

AZURE_MEMORY

Monitors the behavior of physical and virtual memory on the computer.

AZURE_LOGICAL_DISK

Monitors logical partitions of hard or fixed disk drives. A logical disk is a partition on a hard drive or fixed disk drive that is assigned a drive letter, such as C.

AZURE_PROCESSOR

Contains parameters that monitor activities of a processor.

AZURE_ASP_NET_STATE_SERVICE

Monitors the state of the server for a session.

AZURE_GLOBAL_IIS

Monitors the performance of Internet Information Services (the web service and the FTP service) as a whole.

AZURE_SYSTEM

Monitors the components of the computer.

Monitor the performance counters of the ASP.NET performance objects.

AZURE_ASP_NET_APP,
