When you install a Cloud Probe, you must enter the following Collector connection details:
- IP address or DNS name of the computer with the Collector installation
- Port number of the Collector (by default, 443)
- Collector user name
- Collector password
In the Cloud Probe Maintenance Tool, you can change the configuration of the Collector to which the Cloud Probe is connected.
The Cloud Probe starts monitoring automatically after installation. You can monitor the connection status of the Cloud Probe instances and the last time that data was sent to the Collector:
- On the Cloud Probes page of the Collector
- On the Cloud Probes page of the Console
