This topic describes the available dialog boxes in BMC PATROL for Amazon Web Services.

The dialog boxes listed in this page are applicable to BMC PATROL Console only.

AWS Account Configure dialog box

The AWS Account Configure dialog box allows you to configure Amazon Web Services accounts.

ItemDescription
Account LabelSpecify a name to identify the Amazon Web Services account.
Access KeySpecify the access key ID provided by Amazon.
Secret KeySpecify the secure access key provided by Amazon.
Region Filter

(Optional) Specify the regions that should be included or excluded from monitoring, and enable the Include or Exclude option accordingly.

You must specify the internal name of the regions. For example, for the N. Virginia region, specify its internal name, us-east-1.

Use a comma separator to provide more than one region in this field for including or excluding from monitoring.

Tag Filter

(Optional) Specify EC2 Tags to include exclude instances for monitoring, and enable the Include or Exclude option accordingly.

AddEnable this option to add the provided Amazon Web Services account.
ModifyEnable this option to modify the provided Amazon Web Services account.
RemoveEnable this option to remove the added Amazon Web Services account.
ApplyClick this option to apply configuration to the Amazon Web Services account.
ExitClick this option to exit from the dialog box.
