The default agent policy is automatically applied to each App Visibility agent when the agent requests configuration from the App Visibility portal. After installation, you can apply a different policy, with a different configuration, to an agent. For example, agents receive a medium level of monitoring from the default policy, but on a specific application server, you require a deeper level of monitoring.

Before you begin

To perform this procedure, you must have Application Administrator-level access.

To apply a policy to an App Visibility agent

  1. From the navigation pane, select Administration > Agent Policies.
  2. On the Agent Policies page, click the action menu of the policy that you want to apply, and select Apply to Agents.

  3. In the Apply Policy to Agents page, select each agent to which you want to apply the policy.

  4. Click Apply.
