20.08 enhancements
This topic provides information about the enhancements introduced in PATROL Agent version 20.08.
Installation and upgrade
Added support for operating system
PATROL Agent now supports the following operating systems:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2, x86_64, s390x
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.1, x86_64, s390x, PPC64LE
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8, x86_64
- CentOS 7.7, 8.0

Security
Restricted access to security configuration files
By default, only the following type of user accounts will have read and write permissions to the config.default and opendatagateway.current configuration files:
- Microsoft Windows: Administrators, SYSTEM account, and PATROL Default account
- Unix: Owner and the associated group users
