CJVMSRV view

To display information about the CICS JVM server resources for CTS 4.1 (and later) CICS regions within the current context, perform one of the following actions:
  • Hyperlink from the JVM Servers field of the EZCSRES Easy menu.

  • Issue the following command:

    CJVMSRV [target]

    where target is the specific or generic name of a target CICS region.

The following figure is displayed:

Actions

The CJVMSRV view supports the following line command actions:

Enables the JVMSERVER resource

DIS

Disables the JVMSERVER in PHASEOUT mode

PUR

Disables the JVMSERVER in PURGE mode

FPG

Disables the JVMSERVER in FORCEPURGE mode

KIL

Disables the JVMSERVER in KILL mode

SET

Changes the value in a modifiable field to the new value that you type in that field

In CJVMSRV views, the following fields are modifiable:

  • STATUS

  • Thread Limit

Note

Be sure the field contains exactly the value that you want before pressing Enter to issue the SET command. You must clear the field of any other data to prevent it from being passed as part of the new value.

View

Description

CJVMSRVZ

To display summarized information for all JVM servers defined in the CICS regions within the current context, enter CJVMSRVZ or the SUM command on the COMMAND line of the CJVMSRV view.

The information for all JVM servers is summarized into a single record within the current context based on the Server Name field. The Count field shows how many JVM servers are represented by each line of summary data.

CJVMSRVQ

To display a Quick Menu for JVM servers information, hyperlink from the Server Name field of the CJVMSRV view.

CJVMSRVD

To display detailed information about a specific JVM server in a specific resource definition, hyperlink from the Server Status field of the CJVMSRV view.

CJVMSRVR

To display information about the definition signature data of the JVM server, hyperlink from the Resource Signature field of the CJVMSRVQ view.

The CJVMSRVR view is only available for CTS 4.1 and later.

CJVMSRV2

(PTF BPC6302 applied) To display attributes with long values that can have up to 240-255 characters.  Hyperlink from the short form of these attributes in the CJVMSRVD view.
