    This topic describes how you can use the installation wizard to upgrade HR Case Management 4.6.0.0 to 4.6.00.001 on your dedicated BMC Remedy AR System server.

    Best Practice

    It is strongly recommended to back up your system before you run the BMC HR Case Management upgrade. 
     

    To upgrade BMC HR Case Management to 4.6.00.001

    1. On your BMC Remedy AR System server, unzip the suite installer BMCHRCaseManagement4.6.00.001windows.zip.

    2. Navigate to the Disk 1 folder.

    3. Start the installer. For Windows, run setup.exe.

    4. In the Introduction step of wizard, click Next.

    5. In the License Agreement screen, read the license agreement, and select I agree.
    6. The screen that follows,  informs that a 4.6.00 version was detected. Click Next.

      The BMC Remedy AR System Server User inputs screen is displayed. 

    7. Enter your BMC AR System server Administrator  login name and password.

      The Overlay Information screen is displayed. 

    8. Carefully read the instructions, and select I agree.

    9. Click Next.

    10. In the Installation Preview screen that follows, click Install.
    11. Click View Log to verify the upgrade passed with no exceptions.

      The installation summary is displayed. 

    12. Click Done.

    13. Click View Log to verify the upgrade passed with no exceptions.

    Post-upgrade steps

    1. Restart your BMC Action Request System server.
    2. On your AR System server, perform the flush cache.
