In TKU February 2010 the zone_ip_addr attribute was amended. It may now contain multiple IPs. A separate attribute zone_ip_addr_list was also added, full details are in the Reports and Attributes section
In TKU May 2010 updates were made to the Solaris Zone patterns to resolve a number of issues identified on customer sites:
In TKU June 2010 the main Solaris Zone pattern was updated to fix an issue where the pattern did not check whether it had a handle to the Host node (hosting the global zone) before it continued its processing. The pattern now stops (and creates a log entry) if it fails to get the handle to the Host node (meaning the Host node was not created due to an issue with discovering the host).
In TKU October 2011 the datastore search calls made in the pattern module have been reviewed and their efficiency significantly improved (QM001722939)
In TKU April 2012 Host OS version added to be shown as the product version.
In TKU July 2012 the following changes were made:
In TKU October 2012 the creation of containment relationships in the ZoneConsolidateFromVirtualHost and ZoneConsolidateFromSI patterns have been improved in now checking within a search that zone_ip_addr_list is defined. In addition for the ZoneConsolidateFromSI pattern, if the host is not found, a further search is now made to see if the host is running Solaris version 8 or 9 where we are only able to match on IP address as zonename and uuid are not available.
In TKU April 2013 the SolarisZoneContainer pattern was enhanced slightly to obtain information about zone brands and zone IP type. This information is discovered on Atrium Discovery 9.0 and later.
Furthermore, the pattern module was enhanced through addition of a new pattern setVirtualBasedOnUname which aims to set the 'virtual' attribute of the Host node to 'true' if it hasn't been set and the output of the 'uname -a' command contains the string 'Generic_Virtual'. This allows Atrium Discovery to set Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 virtual hosts as such even in absence of the zoneadm command.
In TKU November 2013 a 'vm_class' attribute is added to Host nodes that are running virtualization software discovered by Atrium Discovery to enable easier reporting in a future version of Atrium Discovery
In TKU April 2014 the following changes were performed:
In TKU January 2018 the following changes were made to the pattern:
In TKU April 2018 we made some internal changes to how redundant relationships are removed
In TKU April 2019 the following changes were made:
In TKU January 2020 modified pattern for correct extraction of 'kernel_zone' attribute (DRDC1-14284).
In TKU April 2020 was added linking option based on hostid (DRDC1-14764)
