Red Hat OpenShift
Red Hat OpenShift is built on top of the Kubernetes project and, basically, has the same architecture. This document reflects only differences between OpenShift and Kubernetes modeling. To find the latest information about modeling, cluster nodes and attributes related to both systems - Kubernetes and OpenShift, please, see Kubenetes page.
In TKU December 2023 annotations and tags attributes were added to Ingress Load Balancer Service node. (DRDC1-21418)
In TKU November 2023 all CPU and Memory attributes converted into a single format. e.g. CPU is now discovered in millicores and Memory in bytes. (DRDC1-21849)

It has been years since Openshift 4 was released. Openshift v3.11 is about come to end of support. Almost all customers of Openshift has started using v4 and above.
When will Openshift v4+ be supported? This has started to be an issue in PoCs and projects...
Hi BMC,
We have same question, When will Openshift v4++ be supported?
Someone from BMC told me that they are adding support for OpenShift 4.x in the next release which is targeted to be released in May.
Hope they can make it in May. It is already too late.
its May when does the new TKU come out?
If I understood correctly it is not in a TKU but in a new release of Discovery. Can somebody confirm?
Right, unofficially that is what I was told, "in the next release".
I've checked the TKU released in May 2021, it is not in TKU. Waiting for the next "release"...
Hi,
Support for OpenShift 4.x was added in BMC Discovery 21.05 on 27 May. See the 21.05 (12.2) enhancements for a brief introduction to the API providers feature. Also take a look at the following pages in the 21.05 documentation:
Thanks, Duncan.
