Software Instance Type Attributes Created

The patterns in this module will set the following attributes:

Version from file

file:

/opt/mesosphere/etc/expanded.config.json

string example:

"dcos_version":"1.8.7",

Version from command

command:

curl http://<leader_master_IP>/dcos-metadata/dcos-version.json

result:

"version": "1.8.7"

DC/OS false-positive check

file:

/opt/mesosphere/etc/mesos-master-provider

string:

MESOS_CLUSTER=

cluster_id

file:

/opt/mesosphere/etc/expanded.config.json

string example:

"config_id":"dd6e28cfe49461c7b84d82a3482969b3fe29e799",

Lead state

Search IP address of current Leader Master node and model true/false attribute:lead_state

command:

curl http://localhost:8080/v2/leader

output example:

{"leader":"10.0.0.5:8080"}

Relationships

All Master and Agent nodes with cluster ID are contained in the Software Cluster with corresponding ID. Current Leader Master node has management relationship to the corresponding cluster with the same ID.

Testing

The patterns have been tested against the live installations on UNIX platforms.
