Obtaining instance name

The patterns CommServe and MediaAgent extract instance name from process args using regex :

Obtaining the version information

File

The pattern CommServe extracts full version from %install_root%\CommserveDR\version.txt file using regex:

  • "(?i)Version:\s+(\d+(?:\.\d+)+)"

The pattern MediaAgent uses such registry query:

The pattern MediaAgent triggers on CVMountd or cvd processes.

The pattern CommServe triggers on EvMgrs.exe process.

Configuration Options

There is a configuration option available for this product which allows to run database queries.

To enable this option user just needs to set "True" to db_queries variable.
