TKU February 2009

In TKU February 2009 we added a configuration section which allows the paths to vpxa.cfg to be user-defined, the defaults being '/etc/vmware/vpxa.cfg' and '/etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg'.

TKU February 2010

In TKU February 2010 we added the code for obtaining the port which can be used by EDM or another third-party network management client. Added Registry Versioning as the first one. Added the new name of product ("VMware vCenter Server") to the list of possible names in Package Versioning.

TKU September 2010

In TKU September 2010 we removed an unnecessary regular expression from the VirtualCenterAgent pattern and modified the way that build information is appended to the full_version attribute.

2011

TKU September 2011

In TKU September 2011 the vCenterClusterConfiguration, vCenterCluster and vCenterHostManagement patterns were added. These are applicable for Atrium Discovery 8.3.00 and later only.

TKU October 2011

In TKU October 2011 the active versioning method in the Agent pattern was updated slightly to cater for both older as well as newer versions of the software.

In TKU July 2012 'related_sis_search' function from CommonFunctions module was implemented in VirtualCenterAgent pattern.

TKU February 2013

In TKU February 2013 The pattern now contains a node management code to manage the detail cluster and host nodes.

In TKU June 2013 certain relationships were changed to unique relationship. This will ensure scenarios where servers move from cluster to another, or clusters move from one ESX server to another, are correctly modelled

From TKU August 2013 we model vCenter Server on UNIX as well as Windows. There was also a bug fix in the agent linking code

From TKU September 2013 VirtualCenterServer pattern was updated to support the enhanced related_rdbms_sis_search() function, full_version format of the VirtualCenterAgent pattern was set to the common view.

From TKU June 2016 Patterns and functions updated to not delete cluster and it's members if vCenter credentials failed (DRDC1-6044)

For TKU November 2016  in patterns which use  vCenter and vSphere functions  known_versions were updated (DRDC1-7112)

For TKU February 2017 VirtualCenterServer pattern was updated to obtain related PostgreSQL DB information on Windows OS for version 6.5 (DRDC1-7576)

For TKU February 2018 was updated to set manufacturer name in all cases. Minor performance updates.

TKU December 2018

For TKU December 2018 added support for drs_enabled, ha_enabled (for VMware vCenter Cluster) and vmotion_enabled (for ESXi host) attributes (DRDC1-9941)

TKU January 2019

In  TKU January 2019 the following updates were introduced:

• Updated search of ESX host and its linkage to the Cluster.(DRDC1-10022)
• Added model.destroy option for obsolete Cluster-Host relations which are created by HostTovCenterCluster pattern but not destroyed when ESX host is moved out of the Cluster. (DRDC1-10022)

• Updated vCenterAppliance pattern so that SI attributes(version,build) were not re-written with "none" values in cases when vCenter host is discovered via ssh. (related to DRDC1-10250)

In  TKU March 2019 we've added instance_uuid attribute to vCenter Server SI. (DRDC1-12554)
