September 21, 2021	21.3 (12.3)	This release of BMC Discovery provides the following enhancements: Support for Kerberos authentication for discovery credentials and a new tw_kerberos utility. The Kerberos authentication protocol is available for target discovery using SSH credentials. Integrate with a new third-party credential manager, HashiCorp Vault. Support for OpenShift OAuth authentication, which simplifies the discovery of Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Improvement in scanning performance, resulting in faster scans, better rule indexing, and system utilization. Note

You can upgrade to version 21.3 (12.3) from versions 12.0 (20.02) or later. We expect upgrades from 11.3 to also work, but they have not undergone the same level of detailed validation. For information about supported upgrade versions, see Upgrading.
