Configuring resources for the Azure Provider services

This section provides topics about how to configure and manage resources for the Azure Provider services.

Task

Description

In BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management, you must map your Microsoft Azure subscriptions or Azure administrative accounts as tenants, and define the resource limits as tenant quota.

You must configure the tenant quota for the Azure Provider before configuring the resources.

Configure Virtual Network as a Logical Data Center - This task consists of the following:

  1. Onboard a Virtual Network
  2. Edit a Virtual Network to specify the network type and network container tag
  3. Enable VM placement in single or multiple subnets for a Virtual Network
  4. Offboard a Virtual Network
  5. Map a tenant with a Virtual Network

After you have configured the virtual networks, you can manage the load balancers for the Azure Provider. See Managing-load-balancers-for-the-Azure-Provider for details.
