Modifying the description of service offering instances in the legacy console

Starting with BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 4.5 patch 3, the end user, cloud administrator, or cloud organization administrator can edit the description for a service offering instance from the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management – My Cloud Services console.This topic describes how to edit a service offering instance from the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management – My Cloud Services console.

To modify the description for a service offering instance

1. From the list of services in the My Services tab of the My Cloud Services console, select the service offering instance for which you want to change the description and perform either of the following steps:
   • Right-click the service offering instance and from the context menu select Service > Modify Description.
   • Click the Operator Action icon  and select Modify Description.
2. In the Modify Service Instance dialog box, edit the description. 
3. Click OK.
   The description for the SOI is changed successfully.
