Installer cannot find products

When downloading BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management from DVD, EPD, or FTP, slow network speeds can cause the large ZIP files not to be saved properly. As a result, the installer sometimes cannot find a specific product when you try to install it.

To troubleshoot missing products

  1. Navigate to the installation folder.
    By default, the location is:
    • Microsoft Windows — C:\Users\Administrator\Applications
    • Linux — \opt\Installer folder
  2. Open the Applications folder (media > Applications).
  3. Verify the contents of the installation files
    1. Make sure that all nineteen folders exist:
      • AO-Content
      • AO-DevStudio
      • AO-Platform
      • ARSystem
      • AtriumCore
      • AtriumIntegrator
      • BL-BBAR
      • BL-BBNA
      • BL-Client
      • BL-NSH
      • BL-OpsManager
      • BL-PXE
      • BL-RSCD
      • BMC-CLM
      • BPPMAgent
      • BPPMServer
      • DCH
      • ITSM
      • SLM
      • SRM
      • OnlineHelp
      • RDDS
    2. Open each folder and verify their contents.
  4. If the folder or contents are missing, perform the following:
    • Download the ZIP files or download the products from the BMC EPD site.
  5. Re-run the installer.
