Step 1: Prepare for TrueSight Cloud Cost Control upgrade

Complete the pre-upgrade tasks to ensure a successful upgrade.


Download the installation files and upgrade the shared architectural components of TrueSight Capacity Optimization.

Step 2: Upgrade TrueSight Cloud Cost Control

Perform the TrueSight Cloud Cost Control upgrade.


Update the Cloud Cost Control package.

Step 3: Complete the post-upgrade activities

Complete the post-upgrade activities to make your TrueSight Cloud Cost Control product functional.


Post-upgrade activities include recovering the historical AWS data.

Starting with version 11.3.01, TrueSight Cloud Cost Control imports data for AWS reserved instances. Data collection begins after you upgrade the product. You must perform this step only if you want to import the historical AWS reserved instances data.
