Troubleshooting

If you face problems while using, or administering the BMC Helix Cloud Cost product, the following sections can help you investigate and resolve issues.

Issues with notifications

  1. Did not receive email 
    1. Check if the connector cycle is executed successfully. Schedule the cost connector to run once daily.

    2. Check the email id in the notification is correct.

    3. Check the spam or junk folder for emails.

  2. Red icon on the notification
    1. Check if the Resource Pools mentioned in the notification is present and valid. If not edit the notification to use valid Resource Pools.

    2. Check if Projected Cost is present for the resource pools used in the notification, if the notification is using Projected Cost.

    3. Check if Cost is calculated for the resource pools used in the notification, if the notification is using Cost.

    4. Check if the Budget is set for the resource pools used in notification using budget value.
