Opting out of BMC Helix Business Workflows product usage analytics


Analytics helps BMC improve the experience of BMC Helix Business Workflows, as well as drive product direction. By default, tracking data is enabled for customers who do not opt out of analytics. The performance of BMC Helix Business Workflows is not affected by analytics.

Note

BMC does not collect personal information and individuals are not identified when tracking data. All data is anonymized; however, companies can be identified.

The information collected for analytics is available only to people at BMC who can use this data to shape product direction, such as product management and the user experience team.

The administrator can opt out of analytics or resume participation in analytics from the Administration settings of BMC Helix Business Workflows.

To disable data tracking for BMC Helix Business Workflows analytics

As an administrator, you can disable data tracking for all components. You cannot choose the type of data that BMC can track. 

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
  2. In the Settings pane, select Common Services Analytics.
  3. To disable data tracking for analytics, in Enable, select No

  4. Click Save.

To resume participation in data tracking for analytics, in the Enable field, select Yes.

Important

You can disregard the Customer ID and Project Token fields.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
