Employees can notify the office authorities if they have been tested positive for COVID infection or if they are experiencing any symptoms related to this illness. They can also inform the authorities if they have visited office recently in case any precautionary actions need to be taken as per the standard operating procedure.

Flow of Activities
- Employee goes to Digital Workplace and selects the BMC Sample Facilities-Self-Report COVID Symptoms or Infection service.
- Employee provides the details of whether an infection has been confirmed or if symptoms are being experienced.
- If the Employee has visited office in recent past then the Employee selects how many days (and which days) the office was visited and which office premises were accessed during the office visit.
- If the Employee is experiencing symptoms then the Facilities team will wait for the COVID test result.
- If the Employee has tested positive for COVID infection and has visited office premises recently then the Facilities team will ascertain the list of all the other individuals who may have been in the same office premises on the same day and request them to self quarantine (while ensuring anonymity of the Employee who has self-reported) as per the company's standard operating procedure.
- The Facilities team will deep sanitize the office premises where the Employee has been during the visit.
- The HR team will connect with the Employee for any support or assistance required during their recovery.
- After all these tasks are completed, the case is closed by the Facilities team.
