Installation process overview
Depending on the base product, you must install or enable the appropriate version of BMC Service Resolution:

TrueSight Infrastructure Management 10.5 or later | If you installed or upgraded from TrueSight Operations Management 10.5 or later or Remedy ITSM 9.1.01 or later, do not install BMC Service Resolution 3.5.x. BMC Service Resolution 3.5.x features are included out-of-the-box in these products. However, you must enable the BMC Service Resolution features.See Enabling BMC Service Resolution on Infrastructure Management version 10.5 and later. |
TrueSight Presentation Server 10.1.00 or later and TrueSight Infrastructure Management 10.0.500 or later | See Installing BMC Service Resolution for TrueSight Infrastructure Management or ProactiveNet. Note: Ensure that the outage entry is correct in the .load file located in the BMC_ProactiveNet_HOME/server/etc/<cellName>/kb/rules.
