Performing the BMC Remedy Encryption Security upgrade

When you upgrade BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System servers and clients, standard security is automatically installed on them.

If BMC Remedy Encryption Performance Security or BMC Remedy Encryption Premium Security is already installed, the BMC Remedy AR System installer removes it and displays a message instructing you to install the latest version on the AR System server after the upgrade is complete.

Install BMC Remedy Encryption Security after you have finished upgrading all your platform and application components. If you are upgrading only platform components, you can install BMC Remedy Encryption Security after you finish upgrading platform components.

You must also install the latest version of BMC Remedy Encryption Performance Security or BMC Remedy Encryption Premium Security on your BMC Remedy AR System clients after they are upgraded.
