Starting and stopping BMC Remedy Mid Tier

Perform the following steps to start or stop BMC Remedy Mid Tier.

On Windows

Navigate to Run > services.msc > Start or Stop Apache Tomcat

On Linux\UNIX

To start the mid tier, run the following command:
```
TOMCAT_INSTALL_LOCATION>/bin/startup.sh
```
To stop the mid tier, run the following command:
```
TOMCAT_INSTALL_LOCATION>/bin/shutdown.sh
```
