Uninstalling BMC Service Level Management components

The following procedures describe how to uninstall the BMC Service Level Management components. If you are uninstalling BMC Service Level Management components, the uninstallation process does not remove the BMC Service Level Management database (BMC AR System database) from your system. Your BMC Service Level Management data, including BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System integrations and structures, remain intact.

To uninstall BMC Service Level Management components on Microsoft Windows

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Select Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select BMC Service Level Management.
  4. Click Change/Remove.

To uninstall BMC Service Level management components on UNIX

  1. Go to the BMC Service Level Management installation directory.
  2. Change directories to <BMC Service Level Management Installation_directory>/UninstallBMCSLM. 
  3. Run uninstall.bin.
