Enabling logs to troubleshoot deployment issues

To troubleshoot any deployment issues, you must collect the arjavaplugin.log file in DEBUG mode and share with BMC support.

Perform the following steps to enable arjavaplugin.log in DEBUG mode:

  1. Log in to Mid Tier by using the following URL:
    http://<midTierServer>:<port number>/arsys/
  2. From the IT home page, go to Applications > AR System Administration > AR System Administration Console.
  3. Click System > General > Plugin Server Configuration.
  4. In Plugin Server Instance, select the default Java plugin port entry, for example: 9999.
  5.  In the Plugin Server Configuration tab, go to Logging Configurations and specify the following fields:

    FieldValue
    Enable Plugin LogTrue
    Log LevelDEBUG
    Log FileLocation of the log file
  6. Click Apply.
    The changes are now applied. These changes do not require AR Server and Plugin server restart.
