PATROL for PostgreSQL is a monitoring product that enables you to monitor the local or remote PostgreSQL databases. This section contains information about the features in version 1.1.00 of the PATROL for PostgreSQL product.
Enhanced PostgreSQL monitors and attributes
PATROL for PostgreSQL includes monitor types and attributes that provides you with data that you can use to see the condition and activity of the PostgreSQL database instance.
These monitor types include:
- PostgreSQL BGWRITER (PGR_BGWRITER)
- PostgreSQL Database Table (PGR_TABLE)
- PostgreSQL Database Session (PGR_DB_SESSION_METRICS)
- PostgreSQL Table Index (PGR_INDEX)
- PostgreSQL Database LockMode(PGR_LOCK_MODE)
- PostgreSQL Database LockType(PGR_LOCK_TYPE)
- PostgreSQL Replications(PGR_REPLICATION_CONTAINER)
- PostgreSQL Replication(PGR_REPLICATION)
- Additional parameters for PostgreSQL Database Metrics (PGR_DB_METRICS)
New settings for configuring PostgreSQL monitoring
