Troubleshooting NULL values

BMC Helix Data Manager flags potential migration issues when a target field is required but the source field is optional.

To check for NULL values for a source character field

1. From the Data Mapping page, select the form mapping for the form you want to check.
2. Click the Source Form tab.
3. Click the Fields tab, and select the field you want to check.
4. Click Check For Null.
5. In the dialog box that appears, click Check For Nulls to run the check against your source database.
   Only BMC Helix ITSM systems linked to the data dictionary are available for this check.
