Navigating the AR System Management console to manage server groups

Use the AR System Management Console to manage all server group operations. This console simplifies the server group management by providing a single location to perform all the server group configuration related activities. This also provides:

  • Ease of monitoring operations and administration in a server group.
  • Visibility into server queues for critical processes.
  • One click operation to start or stop server processes and enable or disable logs
  • Apply configurations settings consistently to all servers in a server group.

Best Practice

We recommend that you use the AR System Management Console to manage the configurations stored in the Centralized Configuration.

  1. In a browser, enter the following URL address:
    http://midTierServerInstallDir/arsys/forms/serverName
  2. Log in.
  3. Select AR System Management Console > AR System Server Group Console.

You can configure different settings for the server group by using different screens on the console. The following table describes tasks that you can perform on the AR System Management Console:

If you change the permissions to access different screens of the AR System Management Console, you must make a similar update on the AR System Configuration Permission Model Registry form. For more information about using the AR System Configuration Permission Model Registry form, see Defining default permissions.
