Viewing federated classes and federated information

Use the Class Manager to view federated classes and their details. You can view federated information of a CI from the Explorer.

To view federated classes in the Class Manager

  1. Open the Class Manager.
    Select Class Management > Classes.
  2. Select Federated.

    You can view all the federated classes in the list pane.

To view federated information in Explorer

  1. Search the CI for which you wan to see federated information.
  2. Open the CI in Explorer.
  3. Right-click the CI.

    If federation is configured, the Launch Options list shows options to open federated information. Based on how you configure the federated link, the list may have a cross-launch link to open CI details in BMC Discovery, or a link to the maintenance records relevant to a CI which is a printer, and so on.
