Technical bulletin — Announcing availability of TrueSight Operations Management 11.3.04 without SAP SQL Anywhere (earlier Sybase) database engine


SAP has decided to end support for the embedded SAP SQL Anywhere (earlier Sybase) database engine within TrueSight Operations Management.

As a result, BMC has discontinued the distribution of the embedded SAP SQL Anywhere (earlier Sybase) database engine within TrueSight Operations Management on the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site.

From March 15, 2023, a new build is available on the EPD site that offers the option to install the product only with the Oracle database. 


Perform the following steps to download and install TrueSight Operations Management.

Downloading 

Important

You cannot upgrade to version 11.3.04 of TrueSight Operations Management from any previous version that uses the embedded SAP SQL Anywhere (earlier Sybase) database engine by using the new build.

  1. Download the installation files from the following location: 
  2. Install the following components:
    • TrueSight Presentation Server 11.3.04
    • TrueSight Infrastructure Management 11.3.04
