Installing the Triage and Remediation solution
Supported versions
At a minimum, this integration requires BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform 7.9 to be installed. Also, BMC Triage and Remediation Solution run book version 20.17.01 or earlier must be installed. This run book is deprecated from TrueSight Orchestration Content 20.18.01 onwards.

The Triage and Remediation runbook solution automates the process for applying triage and remediation actions on high-volume events in the data center. In addition, the solution leverages BMC Atrium Orchestrator to link the BMC Remedy ITSM change and incident management applications with the Infrastructure Management's event processing capability.
Following installation of the TrueSight Infrastructure Management product, complete the installation tasks listed in this topic.
Before you begin
Before downloading and installing the components that compose the Triage and Remediation solution, ensure that you possess the
License entitlements for Triage and Remediation
, the TrueSight Operations Management Add-On that entitles you to use the products that enable the solution. The Triage and Remediation license add-on entitles you to download and install the following BMC Atrium Orchestrator component products:
- One configuration distribution peer (CDP)
- One activity peer (AP) for high-availability (HA) support
- BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapters for BMC applications
- Three BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio licenses for workflow development
- Five BMC Atrium Orchestrator Operator Control Panel licenses for workflow scheduling and management
You may use these BMC Atrium Orchestrator component products only within the context of the license add-ons that you have purchased. Using more license capacity for BMC Atrium Orchestrator component products than that listed is prohibited. Third-party BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapters are licensed separately.
When you purchase the Triage and Remediation License Add-On, you receive the license rights to the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Runbooks-Triage and Remediation and the rights to the unrestricted use of the following three BMC Atrium Orchestrator Base Adapters:
- SSH
- Telnet
- Windows command line
