Uninstalling the administrator console

This topic provides information about uninstalling the administrator console. The uninstallation procedure removes all the files, programs, saved data, and related directories of the administrator console installation.

To uninstall the administrator console

On Microsoft Windows:

Option-1: 

1. On the computer where you have installed the administration console, open the Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
3. Select BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Administration and click Uninstall/Change.
4. On the Welcome page, click Next.
5. Select the option to uninstall the administrator console, and click Next.
6. On the Uninstallation Preview page, click Uninstall.
7. On the Uninstallation Summary page, click View Log to view the uninstallation logs, or click Done.

Option-2: 

1. Go to the installationDirectory/uninstallTSIMAdmin directory.
2. Run the uninstall command.
3. On the Welcome page, click Next.
4. On the Uninstallation Summary page, click View Log to view the uninstallation logs, or click Done.

On Linux:

1. From a command line, access the administrationConsoleInstallationDirectory/UninstallBMCTrueSight directory.
2. Run the following command: ./uninstall
3. At the prompt, confirm the removal of the administrator console.
4. To ensure that related directories are removed, restart the host.
