Uninstalling the administration console
This section provides information about uninstalling administration console. The uninstallation procedure removes all the files, programs, saved data, and related directories of the administration console installation.
Uninstalling administration console on Microsoft Windows
To uninstall the administration console, perform the following steps:
- On the computer where you have installed the administration console, open the Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
- Select Infrastructure Management Administration Console x.x, and click Uninstall/Change.
- On the Welcome page, click Next.
- Select the option to uninstall administration console, and click Next.
- On the Uninstallation Preview page, click Uninstall.
- On the Uninstallation Summary page, click View Log to view the uninstallation logs, or click Done.
Uninstalling the administration console on Linux or Solaris
To uninstall the administration console on UNIX or Solaris, perform the following steps:
- From a command line, access the administrationConsoleInstallationDirectory/UninstallBMCTrueSight directory.
- Run the following command:
./uninstall
- At the prompt, confirm the removal of the administration console.
- To ensure that related directories are removed, restart the host.
Note
After you uninstall administration console successfully, the BMCTrueSightJVM and UninstallTSIMAdmin folders are not deleted automatically from the installation directory. You have to manually delete them.
