Transferring the service between the active and standby Presentation Servers

To transfer service to the standby server

1. Ensure that the standby server is up and running.

   Note

   Do not stop the active server immediately after restarting the standby server. The cache synchronization takes time to complete and is dependent on your environment.

2. On the active server, open a CLI command prompt, and from the <Presentation Server installation directory>\truesightpserver\bin directory, run the following command:
   tssh server stop 
   The active server is stopped and the standby server now becomes the active server.
3. Restart the stopped server. Open a CLI command prompt, and from the <Presentation Server installation directory>\truesightpserver\bin directory, run the following command:
   tssh server start
The server is now the standby server.
