Installing

You can use the following modes of installation in a single-server or multiple-server environment:

Installation typeDescription
Wizard-based installation

You can perform a wizard-based installation in one of the following ways:  

  • Typical installation: Run the common installation setup to install all components on a single server.
  • Custom installation: You can use this installation type for the following scenarios:
    • Install individual components of the product on multiple servers.
    • Change port information for the product components while performing a single-server installation.
Silent installationYou can perform a silent (or unattended) installation by using an options file that contains a list of silent installation properties.
