Accessing the console
This topic explains how to access the TrueSight IT Data Analytics (or IT Data Analytics) console.

Depending on your platform, start the product in a supported browser, as described in the following table:

The hostName:port variable refers to the host name and corresponding port number of the Console Server. The default port numbers are: (http) 9797 and (https) 9443. For information about supported ports, see Communication ports and protocols.
Recommendation
BMC recommends you to use an HTTPS connection to access the IT Data Analytics console.
After starting the product, access the product console, by using one of the following default credentials (based on your role) or by using the credentials provided by the Super Admin.
