Permissions to access endpoints in the Infrastructure Management REST API

This section explains how a REST API client's access to a REST API is controlled. It lists out the permissions that are required to access Infrastructure Management.

Permissions to access REST APIs

Your user role must have appropriate permissions to access data by using REST APIs. By default, some user groups and roles are assigned permissions to access a specific REST API. The following table lists the permissions required to access a specific REST API and the user groups and roles that can access the specific REST API by default.

If you want permissions to be assigned to other user groups, your administrator must assign them manually using administration console. For information about user groups and roles, see Managing users with configuration item-based access control.
