Troubleshooting the Infrastructure Management Central Console

This section lists how to troubleshoot issues that may arise in the Central Console.

Users cannot log in to TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server or the Central Console fails to cross-launch a child Infrastructure Management server

You cannot log in to the TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server or you cannot cross-launch to a child TrueSight Infrastructure when you cross-launch a child TrueSight Infrastructure Management server from the Central Console because of one of the reasons shown in the following table:

The child server host name is not a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:
1. In the installation_directory\pw\pronto\conf\servers.properties file, change all the child server entries to FQDN.
2. Restart the central TrueSight Infrastructure Management server.
After you upgrade the TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server, the default realm in the Solution Administrator authorization profile or any other authorization profile is not updated. The default realm remains BMCRealm.

Update the authorization profile with the default realm, and add the Administrators user group of the default Realm in Remedy Single-Sign On (RSSO).
