Command options
The pw system start
command supports the following optional flags:
pw system start force
Unless the Infrastructure Management server meets the system requirements, you cannot start the Infrastructure Management processes.
However, you can forcefully start the Infrastructure Management processes by using thepw system start force
command.pw system start [force] skipHAcheck
(version 11.3.03 and later only)
In a high-availability environment, thepw system start
command automatically runs node status checks to ensure that the nodes are restarted in the correct sequence.
You can skip the validation and start the node by running thepw system start skipHAcheck
command. By doing so, you will lose the cell events/data stored on the previously active node, which are not yet replicated to the node you are restarting. Before running the command, BMC recommends that you review error code 101387 to manually sync the events/data.
After you run thepw system start skipHAcheck
command, you must reconfirm that you want to proceed with starting the node.
