Data Collection and Consistency Status Problem report in the operator console

The Data Collection and Consistency Status Problem report is a consolidated report of both Data Gap and Data Collection. By default, report generation is enabled and gets generated every 720 minutes (12 hours). 

To access the report

Enter the following URL:

https://<TrueSight Infrastructure Management server>/snapshots

This report is also sent to the email address of the recipients listed in the installationDirectory\pw\etc\hosts\admin_user file.

To configure the report options

  1. Access the installationDirectory\pw\pronto\conf\pronet.conf file.
  2. Under the Data Collection and Gap check Properties group, modify the following properties as required:

    pronet.rate.collcheck.checkinterval=720Time interval (in min) for report generation. Can be in the range of 120 min to 1440 min

    pronet.rate.collcheck.senddetailedoutput=0

    To get a detailed output of the report by email, set the value to 1

    pronet.rate.collcheck.sendemptyemail.enable=0To generate an empty email when there are no instances with issues, set the value to 1

    Note

    Data Gap is not applicable for streaming instances.

  3. If you made any changes, restart the Infrastructure Management server to apply the changes:
    Run the pw system start command from a command prompt window.
