Creating an Infrastructure Management admin cell
On a fresh installation of TrueSight Infrastructure Management, the admin cell process or service is not created.
On an upgrade installation of TrueSight Infrastructure Management, a backup of the admin cell kb is created before the upgrade. A new admin cell kb and admin cell process or service is not created.
If you were using the admin cell kb before the upgrade, create a separate admin remote cell after the upgrade by using the
mcrtcell
command and deploy the backed up admin cell kb. This newly created admin cell is similar to other remote cells and you can use the features in the admin cell that you were using prior to the upgrade.
