Monitoring infrastructure devices

When TrueSight Infrastructure Management discovers an issue with a device, the monitor set up for that device activates an event triggered by the specific conditions set up for that device. A monitored device does not generate an event unless the event conditions are specified in the Event Profile. The Event Profile consists of Event Thresholds (to generate an event) and Event Rules (to send event notifications). The TrueSight Operations Management administrator sets event profiles. Default settings are also available in TrueSight Infrastructure Management for automatic configuration.

The TrueSight console provides real-time data about your monitored infrastructure and applications.
