Deleting groups created in the administrator console

  1. In the administrator console, right-click the group that you want to delete and click Delete.

    The Confirm Deletion window is displayed.
  2. Click OK.

Note

When a group is deleted, Infrastructure Management does not update all event rules associated to the group. Although the Edit Event Rules screen does not show the associated group, the database entry corresponding to the event rule still records the association to the deleted group. Such events rules are invalid and do not work.

To correct the event rules, open the edit screen and save the event rule again to remove the reference to the deleted group.
