Changes to infrastructure monitoring administration

With TrueSight Infrastructure Management 10.7 release, the Central Monitoring Administration console is discontinued.

Solution Administrators and specialists need to use the TrueSight console to perform the tasks that were available from the Central Monitoring Administration console.

Permissions to configure the infrastructure monitoring administration

When you upgrade from an earlier version of TrueSight Operations Management, the permissions are automatically updated as per the following list. Also, the following list serves as a quick reference on the tasks that you can perform when these permissions are enabled:



Mandatory permissions

Allow access to infrastructure monitoring administration

To view the Infrastructure Management configuration menu options on the TrueSight console

Allow infrastructure monitoring administration related web service APIs

To access the web service APIs for the configuration options
Specific permissions

Allow infrastructure monitoring policy management

To work with monitoring policies

Allow infrastructure blackout policy management

To work with blackout policies

Allow infrastructure staging policy management
