Advanced options for Web Transaction monitor
The following table describes the advanced options for Web Transaction monitors:

Full page option | |
Download Full Page | Select the check box to download the entire page content. Download includes images and other linked components. |
HTTP Proxy options | |
Use Proxy | Select the check box to access transaction URLs through Integration Service. |
Proxy Server | Specify the name or IP address of the computer hosting the Integration Service. |
Proxy Port | Specify the port on which the Integration Service is configured to listen for connections. |
Proxy User | Specify the user name for accessing the Integration Service. |
Proxy Password | Specify the password corresponding to the user name. |
Statistics polling options | |
Collect Data | Select or clear check box to enable or disable data collection for the monitored component. By default, data collection is enabled (check box selected). |
Poll Interval (min) | Specify the time interval between two consecutive statistical data polls. Default is 5 minutes. |
Poll Timeout (min) | Specify the timeout period for each poll of statistical data. If no data is available at the end of this interval, the system records zero availability and proceeds with the next scheduled poll. Default is 2 minutes. |
Number of Retries | Specify the number of consecutive unsuccessful attempts for recording zero availability for the poll. Default is 1. |
Retry Wait (sec) | Specify the time interval between two consecutive attempts of a single poll. Default is 20 seconds. |
Page capturing option | |
Capture Page on Failure | Select this check box to capture the page in which the error (if any) has occurred during polling. The captured error page can be viewed with the More Info option in the Operations Console. |
Group tab | |
Group Membership | This enables you to add a device and its monitors to one or more groups. Optionally, you can associate the device with a group. A group is used to logically organize the devices and monitors by department, geographic area, or service. Assigning a device to a group also enables the system administrator to restrict or allow access to certain devices. To associate the device with a group, select the group name from here. |
