1. Host: Splunk Enterprise Server
   
   
2. Port: Splunk Enterprise Port : Default 8089 
   
   
3. Uses HTTPS: If Splunk uses HTTPS, check this box
   
   
4. User Name: for user that can access the SolarWinds REST API
   
   
5. Password: for user that can access the SolarWinds REST API
   
   
6. Select "Validate And Create"
   
   
   1. If there's no error, the connection was successful
