Agent tuning variables
In the PATROL Agent Configuration Utility, these variables are located in /AgentSetup/AgentTuning.

Sets the operating system scheduling priority (referred to as the nice value in UNIX) for the PATROL Agent process
Sets the application discovery rate in seconds
Sets process cache refresh rate in seconds
Specifies whether the PATROL Agent will maintain a list of all jobs or only the active jobs in the process cache
Specifies whether the PATROL Agent will collect the process related information from /proc directory on the UNIX platform or using the PS command.
Sets the operating system scheduling priority (referred to as the nice value in UNIX) for the process that refreshes the process cache
Sets the internal scheduling priority for the process that refreshes the process cache
Sets the maximum number of instructions within pslInstructionPeriod seconds that a PSL process can run without incurring an internal scheduling delay
Sets period of time in seconds that a PSL process can run the maximum number of instructions without incurring an internal scheduling delay
Sets gap (in seconds) between processes in the PATROL Agent's run queue
Sets the increment (in seconds) used when checking for a gap in the PATROL Agent's run queue
Sets the maximum delay (in seconds) for a process
Sets the PATROL Agent scheduling policy
Sets operating system scheduling priority (the nice value) for processes created by PATROL Agent
