System Performance (NT_SYSTEM)

Monitors and provides information about the state of objects in a Windows system. The application also provides information about the number of processes, interrupts, and the amount of CPU utilization.

Note

The System Performance monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_SYSTEM application class in BMC PATROL.

The NT_SYSTEM application is the main application in the PATROL KM for Windows OS systems.

The following information is displayed on the NT_SYSTEM InfoBox:

Description

Icon type

the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter)

State

the current state of the bject

Application class

name of the application class

Default user name

the default PATROL user name, if any

Worst parameter

the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any
If more than one parameter is in a warning or an alarm state, the parameter with the most severe problems is shown

History retention

the length of time history is retained

NT KM version

the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use
